How many drops of essential oil does it take to make an ounce?!

Question: It's a rough estimate, but usually about 600 drops. But it will be more for a thin oil and less for thick.

A ounce is also about two tablespoons.

The number of drops it takes will depend on the density of the oil. Some liquids are more dense than others, meaning that a drop of one liquid will weigh more than a drop of another liquid. If you really need an ounce of a specific oil, you'll need to weigh it. Put a container on a scale, zero the scale, and then put drops of the oil into the container until the scale says "one ounce."

it depends on whether it is sold on fluid once or weight once
if it is liquid one once is 30 mls or 2 TBLS
IN the Country I live in they are sold by the fluid once

One thing to watch for is to make sure the essential oils you get are 100% pure or are called absolute oil
absolute oils are more $$ but they are more consintrated so you need less.

Around 900, here's how I got there. One ounce is 30 mls, one ml is 30 drops, 30 X 30= 900.
