Temaze sleeping pills are keeping me awake not helping me sleep y is that?!
Question: My dr gave me temaze sleeping pills today and said take one 30 mins before i wont to go to sleep so i took one at 7:30couse i have not had any sleep for at least the alst 48 hours any way all its done is making me feel more awake its now 10:45 pm and im wide awake i NEED SLEEP please can someone help me

It most likely is not the right sleep aide for you. Many people have this [paradoxical] opposite reaction to medications

You might find the following breathing technique helpful:
Lay in a comfortable position inhale deep into your lungs extending your abdomen counting to 4, hold the breath counting to 7, slowly exhale counting to 8 drawing in the abdomen to expel all the air. Do this 3 times and repeat if necessary. Sweet Dreams!
