What are the side effects of oversleeping?!

Question: I tend to oversleep a lot lately and i think the problem is not so much oversleeping itself but why do you oversleep.

It might indicate a general health problem [anaemia, chronic fatigue] or a sleeping problem [sleep apnoea, very light sleep]. And it is also a significant sign of depression. [though of course it does not by itself signify depression]

Try to improve the quality of your sleep and check if oversleeping is a result of you feeling very tired [maybe you could use a multivitamin or check with your GP].

That said every person has different needs regarding sleep. Some people feel fine with 6h of sleep and some need 10h. So if you need a bit more than 8h it might have to do with your idiosyncrasy, though if you consistently sleep more than 10h a day and you feel constantly tired I would recommend a health check. Exercise can also improve sleep quality but you should avoid exercising 2-3 before you go to bed.

Ultimately, the sack.

Lethargy.

feeling more sleepy

lol
well you get those horrible headaches which i suppose are migraines then the fuggyness feeling and often your joints and muscles ache and of course you remember your dreams more when you sleep lighter (which is what happens wen u sleep over the amount of hours your body needs), because you are really waking so you remember those dreams but actually you carry on sleeping so the dreams dont stop, also the more you sleep over your time that you need the more sleep you will feel you need, it becomes a horrible cycle.

Ironically, bags under eyes if sleeping with head in pillow, etc...

It makes you even more tired than you were before.

getting fat and wasting your life away

tiredness
