Answers: Can it be given to children also around 6-7 year-olds?

Our mother used to give us turmeric added to luke warm milk when we where young. I don't remember how old I was when she started giving it to us. But it is effective and safe remedy for children. Specially when given at night time.

Health Benefits of Turmeric:

* Helps flush out toxins to reduce strain on the liver
* Reduces inflammation by lowering histamine levels
* Supports bile production to break down fats for lower cholesterol
* Promotes natural cleansing and protection of the liver
* Separates platelets for improved blood circulation
* Encourages the growth of digestive flora and discourages the growth of harmful bacteria

Research has shown that people who drink excessive amounts of alcohol (a behavior that can lead to severe liver damage) experienced less damage to the liver if they consumed regular doses of Turmeric. In fact, research suggests Organic Turmeric works by increasing production of several liver detoxification enzymes.

Turmeric is natural antiseptic and it helps with hot milk to sooth sore throat and give relief from cold.
This is traditional home medicine in India.
