Is animal chiropractic a good career to consider?!
Question: Is animal chiropractic a good career to consider!?
I am in my first year studying chiropractic science at university!. I want to explore the different options I can take with holding this degree!. I've always liked the idea of working with animals and was just wondering if animal chiropractic is a rewarding career to emabark on!? does it have good job prospects!? and many positions available!?

First of all where do you study chiropractic!? Second!. With respect to animal chiropractic!. It can be a lot of fun and rewarding!. But it is extremely unlikely that you can make it your only practice!. Most all chiropractors that do it derive most of their income from human patients and do animal chiropractic on the side!. Also be aware that in some jurisdictions you may not practice on animals at all!. In other jurisdictions you may do it but not charge!. And in still others you could do it but need to acting under a veterinarian's license!. So I applaud your desire to help animals but need to tell you that you will need to have a human practice to support the cost of seeing the animals!.

It may be difficult to make money - ins!. won't cover it, and not everyone will be willing to bring their pet in every week for an adjustment!. Pets can't say they're in pain!. Would you spend $160 a month on your healthy pet!? I have a dog and a cat, and frankly, I don't have that kind of money!. I see a chiro because I have ins!. I take my pets to the vet!.
