Make sure you buy the adequate lavender oil for your purpose!.
If it's just for burning in a room or for a bath, you can buy a cheaper one - like at Body Shop for example!.
If it is for massage or inhalation or for taking internally, buy them at a pharmacy or at a health food store and check the quality!.
Be aware that you need to know the latin name and the properties of the lavender oil you buy!. There are 5 different types on the market!. They all have different properties and one of them (Lavandula stoechas) is abortive and neurotoxic (damages your nervous system)!.
It is not necessary to demand organic essential oils!. The process of distillation does not allow heavy metals, chemicals from fertilizers or pesticides to end up in the final product!.
Do not use essential oils - of any kind! - if you are pregnant!. Not even to burn in the room or in the bath water!.

You can get it a health food stores, at least where I live, but I don't know how much it would cost!. Some of the aromatic oils are rather expensive, IMO!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You can buy lavender oil from the Body Shop - I have it myself!. I put a few drops of it in an oil burner and let it burn for an hour or so, and the smell lingers for almost the whole day, it's great!. The home fragrance oil is
