Goji berry?!

Question: Goji berry!?
Can someone explain the goji berry to me, the different uses and results!.!.!.!.thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It's a very good antioxidant, so it helps to protect basically all the cells in your body!. Because of that, a lot of people use it as a general health tonic, some use it for joint health, some use it for skin health!.!.!. the list goes on!.
It doesn't have a huge amount of Vitamin C in and of itself (if it did, they would legally have to list it in the ingredients), but it has a lot of other natural antioxidants!.

As a side note, it doesn't taste very good compared to other berries, so many Goji juice products you'll find on the market are often sweetened with other fruit juices!. We have hundreds of customers that take Goji on a regular basis, and I know there is a Multi-Level Marketing company that sells that as their main product, so it sells well enough world-wide, too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It has a high amount of Vitamin C in it's skin and flesh, but not so much in its juice!. It may or may not taste good!. The intake of high levels of Vitamin C don't really help anything and may actually harm you!. (megadosing of vitamins is a dangerous game)Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are about 80 species but Lycium Barbarum is said to be the best!.

The Gogi plant also known as wolfberry, is tolerant to -15 C to + 35 C, a hardy plant needing no special soil conditions!. It has a deep root system and is drought tolerant!. It grows to a height of 2-3 metres and bears long fruit bearing vines!. It produces purple and white trumpet shaped flowers in summer followed by fruit in the autumn up to the first hard frost!. The plant is deciduous and self pollinating!.

The berries oxidise quickly and this is the reason why fresh gogi berries are not found in supermarkets - but you can grow your own!.

The gogi is called the happy berry in China and used as food and herbal remedy for thousands of years !. Ancient chinese medical texts praised them for strenthening the eyes, liver and kidneys aswell as fortifying the chi or life force!. Remarkable stories of longevity have been associated with it!.

It is jam packed with nutrients including essential fatty acids aswell as powerful antioxidants!.
