Answers:
I've had 2 types of anti-anxiety medication!. Xanax is believed to cause weight gain, and Valium is not!.

Xanax seems to make me drowsy and a bit confused, where as Valium has minimal side effects!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

All drugs have side effects, even over the counter drugs have side effects!. Anxiety attacks are usually being treated with anti-depressants, and anti depressants have a tendency to make you gain weight and they also can blur your vision!. I took them for 3 days and then I told the doctor no more because of that!. What you can do is try to figure out why you got anxiety attacks--treating the attacks is treating the symptom, finding out why you get anxiety attacks and resolving that issue is treating the cause!.!.!.!.and once the cause is treated anxiety attacks can go away!.!.!.!.that's how I did it--I mean I needed help(went to counseling), but it actually resolved my problem and I don't get them no longer!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
