Question: Can I still use this medicine!?
while cleaning up around the apartment I found this :
Prilosec OTC (expiry date July!.07)
Dristan Cold (expiry date Jan!.08)
Wal-phed PE (not sure of the national brand equivelant, it's from Walgreens) expiry date of March08
My question is are any of these products still safe to use!? If so for how much longer!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

They should all still be SAFE to use, and the cold medicine and sudafed generic will both be just as effective as they would be before their expiration dates--the actual time it takes to lose efficacy is usually much longer than what they put on the box!.
The prilosec I'm not so sure about!.!.!.it won't cause your body any harm if you take it, but it might not be very effective at reducing acid production this long after the recommended "use by" date!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

to be safe i wouldn't take expired medicine!. it has an expiration date for a reason!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I had taken old Alka seltzer for heartburn!. It worked so well I went and bought the same kind!. That new one didnot work,so i assume the old meds are probably betterWww@Answer-Health@Com
