Drowsiness after eating is seen most after eating a high carbohydrate meal!. It is the insulin surge that causes it most of the time!. Cut the carbs and it will help, but it wouldn't hurt to get checked for diabetes if it is severe enough to a point that you fall asleep or if it inhibits your ability to drive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it could be from a chemical in the food if you are eating a lot of turkey or parmesean cheese!. it could also be from eating too much food and your body's energy is going to break down the food so you get tired!. or your eating the wrong kinds of carbs "quick carbs" and you get a fast burst of energy for a few minutes then you crash!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
