Home remedies for curing a cold?!
Question: Home remedies for curing a cold?

If you have a blocked nose put spices and hot sauce in everything you eat. A warm bath and then wrap yourself in warm towels. Get into really confortable and warm clothes. A shower may get your hair wet and that may not be good if you, particularly if you should catch a draft. Now after this, get yourself a nice cup of elderberry tea. My absolute favourite cold cure, with honey (no sugar!!!) and some drops of lemon juice. That's three cold fighters in one cup. Now get yourself lots of blankets to have at arm's length and get into bed. You want to be extra warm! Remember, you are going to sweat a lot while your fever breaks. If your pyjamas feel wet with the sweat, change to dry clothes. You are going to dehydrate fast, so drink lots of tea and water. Get plenty of bedrest and drink plenty of liquids. Chicken noodle soup is a tried and true cold reliever and recent studies have attested to its effectiveness. Do not use medicated nasal drops without a physician's consent as excessive use will cause chemical rhinitis with rebound block.
Hope you feel better soon! :D

There are no cures for the common cold, home or otherwise. The best you can do is treat the symptoms and wait for it to end. Don't waste your money or time on home remedies.
All I can tell you is to take your temperature once every few hours and just rest. I have yet to find anything that helps me when I get a cold.
