Question: Will getting my cartilage pierced trigger an acupuncture point?
i want to get my cartilage pierced but my mother is worried that later on in life if ill need that part of my ear for acupuncture to help me with some health issue. so which part of my cartilage would be a safe place to get pierced?

Go ahead and do it. Acupuncture points don't really exist. No one has been able to say what they are physiologically and anatomically. Health issues also should be addressed by proper medical professionals such a doctors and nurses, not acupunturists and other alt med silliness.
