it wouldnt make me OD or something right?

Answers:

I recently had to take antibiotics 4 times a day for a month. It is best, and they tell you, to take
the medicine as close as possible to the scheduled time, so they do not overlap. There were
just 4 times when I overslept and had to take the medicine a couple hours LATER than usual.
Whenever that happened, I adjusted all the times. So if I was supposed to take antibiotic at 10am
but took it at Noon instead, then I would take the antibiotic next at 6 pm.
No, you don't want to be overlapping the way you are planning to do. Set your alarm clock.....
if you over sleep, then take your antibiotic right away.......then take it again 8 hours later, etc.
.....Whenever you take it late, adjust the times.....but do not take it early.
.......You want to have a steady flow of that medicine in your bloodstream, not a smooth flow then a Peak and a smooth flow and a Peak........it does it's job best when you have a steady flow........
and be very certain you take it until you are out of medication. Don't stop taking it just because you feel better.......That way the antibiotic kills all the germs. Stop taking it too early, and germs will be left & those will be immune to that antibiotic in the future.
No problem if you dont believe me simply ask your doctor or the pharmacist.

I don't know that OD would necessarily be the way to describe getting too much antibiotics. Antibiotics work by killing the bad bacteria. Unfortunately, they also kill the good bacteria that we need. I don't think it would really be too bad to do the doses in those time spans. I would definitely recommend taking some probiotics when you finish your course of antibiotics. These will help restore the balance of good bacteria to your body, so you don't get sick afterwards.
