Question: Wondering if you could send positive energy or pray for a friend of ours?
a friend of ours has been recently diagnosed with cancer and is very ill, he is a very good man, extremely kind and honest with a good heart...he is a fighter served two tours of duty and came back only to watch his family fall apart and he still found the courage to cary on...he deserves a chance to be happy and healthy so my question for those of you that pray...send a prayer up, for those of you that don't pray send some positive energy into the cosmos for this guy he really needs all the help he can get

'Positive' energy focused towards someone, and prayer, does nothing.
What you need to do is spend more time with your friend, and less time focusing on utter BS that does nothing for him or you.
If you really want to help, besides spending time with him, research what type of cancer afflicts him, and read into the studies that explain the most efficient treatment and options for him, that will do a lot more in regards to securing a future for him then asking strangers to 'think happy thoughts towards a guy you don't know and never met'.

Reality.

You'd do more good helping to ferry him to and from the hospital. One pair of hands working is worth more than 1000 pairs clasped in prayer

i pray to god most nights to keep my baby safe and my family i will include your friend when i pray at night :)
