Are black chiropractors better than white chiropractors? What makes black people!

All chiropractors are quacks regardless of skin color.

This question cannot possibly be serious right?

In New Zealand there are very few Maori Osteopaths (mainly because about 60% are British and 20% are French trained in Britain) however the few Maori Osteopaths in practice tend to have a higher proportion of Maori patients than their Non Maori colleagues.
In the UK, ethnic, British Indian Osteo's had a higher proportion of India patients than their non Indian colleagues.
There are a couple of black (Afro- Caribbean) Osteo's I know in the UK. They tended to have more black patients than average.


This is simply because you hang around with and engage with people you feel most comfortable with.

When there is little or no choice, you take what is available. When there is a choice you take who you feel most comfortable with for various reasons. Cultural identity is very powerful.
Colour is sometimes less important.
My friends are vary varied in colour backgrounds, education etc but they all have something important to me which I can identify with.

based on looking at that advert, i'd say that's a service for people who'd prefer to see a black chiropractor for cultural/personal comfort reasons or whatever, which is kind of a shame. if someone opened a whites-only practice i don't think it'd be too popular! but i suppose racists probably carry a lot of tension in their shoulder muscles.

you do need some strength to do this, but i saw a female chiropractor after i broke my jaw and she was really good. i don't think it's quackery either, at least not in the UK - my jaw muscles had contracted from lack of use and she gave me massages and stretches to do which helped. she also used to twist my head right round til it made a satisfying CRACK which was a highlight.

I can't speak from personal experience, because I've only had one chiropractor. He's great by the way, which is why I never needed another. Anyway, from what people tell me it doesn't matter whether or not they are black or white. They just have to be solid enough to give you a good hard crack. So typically a man with some strength and torque.

This is just plain silly. At first I thought it was some kind of Saturday Night spoof.
It's not racist because no one made any claims that black Chiro's were better than any other colour, creed, etc. If someone wants to make an issue about colour in today's marketplace they're just nuts.

I find it hard to believe that just because they are black they are any better as a chiropractor than anyone else. I've only been to white chiropractors but even a female white chiropractor did an excellent job.

Chiropractors are basically a scam. If you take your scam in any particular 'flavour' it's still going to be a scam.
