Hey!
Well lately I have been having a difficult time taking my meds (about 13 individual pills) and everytime I think about taking them or go to take them I get a terrible sick stomach, and then if I do take them I normally throw up 5 mins after.
Anyway, for painkillers, maybe try liquid meds, or crush them up and put them in ice cream, pudding, or a smoothie? :)
Hope you have better luck than I do! :P

There's a phobia of almost everything. Here's an almost complete list.

Pharmacophobia is the fear of taking medicine.

But it sounds like you don't have a phobia. This is the definition: "a persistent, irrational fear of a specific object, activity, or situation that leads to a compelling desire to avoid it" You just don't like swallowing pills. People with a phobia can barely THINK about what they fear without getting scared.

For one, unless you take something for your fear or should its probably just a bad fear. Just to let you know. I had braces a couple years ago. It doesn't hurt that badly. Your teeth will be sore for a while, but its bearable. I didn't take any pills either as I also can't swallow them. Its not that bad, really.

Phagophobia - It means the 'Fear of swallowing'.
And on another note getting braces don't hurt that much, trust me I've already had them.
But of course if you're still not comfortable with its best to take those pain killerse.

Hope this helps!
