cannabis is less harmful then its lead on?!

Question: Cannabis is less harmful then its lead on?
ive been smoking weed for about 2 years with my friends and i am perfectly fine, all my friends are fine its just a great end to the week. i wouldn't say im insane and i wouldn't say im addicted but everyone who makes out that its terrible doesn't seem to know much about it and i doubt have even smoked it. anyone disagree? no essays please.

Answers:

Totally agree, weed isn't dangerous at all.

hello Phil, The Dangers Of Cannabis-A Minimal List
Is cannabis a danger to the public? ? I think not.

Should cannabis be legalised? I think so. If you agree with me then read this article. If you don't, then read it anyway. It might teach you a thing, or two, about reality.
Cannabis, weed, grass, hemp, ****, ganga, bhang, marijuana; they are all the same: completely harmless, and completely misunderstood. 260 million people worldwide use it for its potential advantages. Those who don't use it are missing out. In 1973, the drug was banned from use in Britain, much to the dismay of its users. For twenty-seven years, people have fought for the right to use it as a drug, unsuccessfully. Read on to find out the mistake that we have made.

The first point that politicians raise is that cannabis has a worse effect on the user than tobacco in cigarettes. This is also the first point at which they stumble. Read the full essay here:

Maybe i am abnormal but i have never even seen cannabis, i do not take any kind of recreational drug and only personally know one person who does. That being the case i am obviously not in the best position to comment on how harmful weed is, my guess is that in it's self it is not very harmful but the real harm could turn out to be that it is the thin edge of the wedge. You use weed with no apparent ill affects so sooner or later you are more likely to try the next step up, then the next, then the next than someone who has not taken that first innocuous step. My guess is that most regular users of weed will in the long term go beyond that, and that the odd line of coke at a party will seem to do no harm, and so on.

I also do not drink any alcohol, none at all. I found out many years back that my body has a very very low tolerance level for alcohol, i had my first drinks at 17, and my last. Am i missing something? No, not in my book. I don't need alcohol to enjoy myself, go to the pub with friends but i only have fruit juice. I guess what you have not had you do not miss and with the price of booze i will save myself a small fortune over a life time. I have to admit though i just do not understand anyone who goes out with the specific intent to get pissssed out of their skull.

You are perfectly right ... for yourself.

But it's not careful to think everyone's experience will be your experience.

Another example : meditation.
It calms the mind, it calms the body, takes away a lot of stress-induces diseases,
BUT
it's not good for everyone.
Suppose one's heart is closed (as we say in energetic terms),
and he starts fire meditation (as we say),
He will feel better physically quite soon.
The energy will flow and flow, but this energy has its characteristics,
and the body, due to the emotions and thoughts (closed heart) has its borders for the energy to run.

So the energy will (and this may happen quite soon)
get stuck in the head.
This is something we all have in a sense, when thoughts repeat themselves and we kind of can't control them.
The person may get paranoia.

So although meditation is healthy, as many people state,
it can have a very bad effect for some people.

It's indeed a world 's disease to make out judgments about things we don't understand.
So don't care if people judge you because of your actions.

The dangers of modern cannabis are grossly underestimated. It affects all systems in the body adversely, from the heart and lungs to the brain and genitalia.

GP for more years than I care to remember

weed effects everybody differently. i smoked it for several years but on a daily basis. my advice to you would be to leave it alone.

If weed was so bad why would they give it to cancer patients?

So true, i've been stoned for ages and i'll ive done is killed my mum.... fine

Yep.

Did you know that new research shows that marijuana actually kills cancer cells... rather than creating them? It actually causes them to eat themselves in a process called "autophage".

Also, instead of killing brain cells, studies show it actually promotes the growth of new brain cells?

Did you know that the cannabinoid receptor is the most prevalent cellular receptor in our brains?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabinoid…

This mystery began to unravel in 1964, when tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, the main psychoactive chemical in cannabis was isolated and synthesized by Raphael Mechoulam and colleagues in Israel. Subsequently, in 1988, Allyn Howlett and colleagues discovered the cannabinoid receptor in the brain. This receptor called CB1was a precise match for the unique chemicals called cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant (phytocannabinoids). This initial discovery led to scientists hypothesizing that humans are "wired" for cannabis. The CB1receptors have been found in the brain in areas that control the coordination of movement, emotions, memory, reduction of pain, reward systems, and reproduction, yet are almost absent in the brain stem (which affects our vital functions such as breathing). It appears that cannabinoid receptors, which modulate other neurotransmitter function in a retrograde “on demand” fashion are present in far higher concentrations in the brain than any other receptor. While the CB1 receptors are primarily found in the central nervous system, a second type, CB2, discovered in 1993, are found primarily in the immune system, GI tract, liver, spleen, kidney, bones, heart, and peripheral nervous system. In fact, the CB2 receptor appears to be up-regulated whenever there is tissue pathology.

Did you know that the government actually has the patent on medical marijuana... for use in fighting diseases such as cancer, Crohn's disease, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease and more?

And yet they repeatedly say that there is "no medical use" for marijuana.

Look it up. U.S. Patent #6630507

It's like a MIRACLE DRUG because the endocannabinoid system in your body controls so much chemically... by stimulating this system, many positive effects can occur in many different organs of the body.

If you don’t believe me, check out the studies at www.pubmed.gov … just type “cannabinoids” and “cancer” in the search bar and you’ll see the results of the HUNDREDS of studies that show that the THC in marijuana actually kills cancer cells, both in human tissue cultures and in animals. But… they won’t let us do studies on humans because mj has been labeled the “devil’s weed”. HA!

But there is plenty of anecdotal evidence. (People who didn't want to wait on the government to legalize medical marijuana to help with their illness. We've been waiting over 40 years, after all.) I have been in correspondence with the head of the biology dept at a major university in Colorado, and he's knows people personally who have used super-concentrated cannabis oil to CURE their cancer. His own girlfriend got rid of her skin cancer completely applying cannabis oil topically. You can also find video diaries on the internet of people who have gotten rid of skin cancer using cannabis oil. Also video diaries of people who have had miraculous healing of 3rd degree burns. One video diary I found had an AIDS patient who was ingesting the oil and cut his T-cell count from over 800 to around 400 in just a few weeks.

Rick Simpson has cured hundreds of people over the last few years and has plenty of written and videoed testimony. Google "Run from the Cure".
