Question:
Other than having a good fitness program, is there somehing natural I can take to help my bipolar 1 disorder?
I always feel better when I am active. But I was wondering if there was something natural that I can get at the health food store that I should be adding in. any ideas?
They put me on Abilify, 10 mg 30 pills for $400.00 a month. That is so unreasonable. Plus, I would like to do thing naturally as possible.

Oh, I am not ashamed or ruled out medication at all. I feel really good while I am on it. It is a huge blessing. But, after exhausting every option available, I feel like I really have no choice other then looking for something else. I have tried over 10 other medications for my bipolar, nothing seems to get me the result and the peace that Abilify does. I have written the company that makes it, talked to my doctor about my options, tried getting insurance, and also applied threw the state (my husband makes too much to qualify).
I have totally execpt that I am this way and that I need to get some help not only for my families peace as well as my own.
Frankly, when we figured out that I was bipolar, I was relieved, I finally understood why I always felt so "crazy" all the time. =0)

You should really check with your doctor about not taking your medications first.
If you want to take a nutritional supplement, you can try Vitamin Bs. They help to regulate your mood. A deficiency can lead to depression.
