Has anyone any experience using ear cones/candles to remove ear wax? Can you give a brief discription?

Ear coning is a very old remedy that was/is used in several cultures. The purpose is to remove accumulated ear wax, parasites and other debris that is down in the ear canal which is usually further than a Q-tip can reach. The cones are made of a combination of several elements depending on the brand or company such as: cotton, hemp, paraffin wax and essential oils. They range in size from about 6" -15". The tip of the cone is inserted in the opening of the ear and the other end is lit until the candle burns down to a certain point. What happens is that the smoke creates a vacuum which goes down into the ear canal which in turn pulls the wax and debris out into the candle and is then discarded. The process is painless and actually quite relaxing. It is excellent for those who are having sinus problems because it assists in draining the sinus cavity.
