What would you think should be done, if you ended up discovering that you might be directly addicted to a person?

It's been called co-dependence. Some symptoms are that you can't say no to the person no matter how unreasonable they are, that you put your whole life on hold just to make, or keep, things okay with the person you're addicted to.

Google co-dependence and you'll find a plethora of website and reading suggestions that can help you determine if you have co-dependency, and how to stop it.

First of all is this a healthy relationship or not? if you are asking the question then probably not. Look up Codependency that's a very good place to start. Merry Christmas.
