Do you know someone who has died from depression?!
Question: Depressed people are more likely to have accidents that lead to death, so indirectly. And "broken heart syndrome" is a form of depression that leads to cardiac problems--so I guess in a way people can die from depression.

Yes, I know someone who died because he was depressed, unable to sleep, and accidentally overdosed on prescribed medication.
Chronic depression increases the chances of a shortened lifespan.
Much of the time though, it feels like we wish depression could cause death, but it only causes deep suffering and despair, with no relief. The only thing for it is to keep on seeking help from all sources.
yes i do... and its very sad. just knowing all the pain he kept inside. what he must have felt. what emotions and thoughts going through his head at his last moment. its a very sad thing to know that he'd rather die then face a problem.
