Let me start off by saying that I have taken at least 15 different medications for sleep, so I have pretty much experienced all of the weird side effects they create. Rozerem was actually the most debilitating the day after. I literally slept all through the night, woke up and ate lunch, sleep until dinner, woke up and ate, and then slept through the night again. I had to stop taking it because it interfered with my life so much. I usually have to switch medications because they don't effect me enough, this one was just absurd.
I never had any problems with it.
You do need to sleep AT LEAST 8 HOURS before getting up, did you?
I don't know the compound in Rozerem, but I do use Ambien at times, and it has no side effects with me whatsoever. You could try a sample from your doctor to see if it will work better for you. Also make sure you aren't eating or drinking too close to bedtime. Good luck.
I did have the "hung over" feeling as well. Coffee coffee coffee coffee! I did not take Rozerem for long... I personallt didn't like it.
