Aw that's nasty.

Drink fluids.

If you're still nauseous and afraid of upsetting your stomach drink ginger ale.

But otherwise I'd try drinking some milk or eating something.

If nothing works and it's still stuck there you may have to make yourself throw up a bit. I don't mean go all bulimic, but make yourself gag a bit to dislodge it.

i feel for ya, good luck.

Ginger Ale...not that good....helps a lot

Toast too

things that are dry or have fizz

It's not likely you have anything actually stuck in your throat. What you describe is a common sensation people get after they are sick, usually because the force of the vomiting has caused a small tear in the lining of the esophagus or the vocal cords are slightly irritated and swollen. Just try sipping some room temperature water. That's more likely to stay down in a woggy belly than cold or hot would. Since you are ill, for today don't try eating anything. Stick with clear liquids, preferably at room temperature and not bubbly like soda. If you just really want a soda, pop it and let it sit for an hour or so to cut down on the bubbles. Those can just make you want to barf all over again. Tomorrow if you are feeling up to it and can hold down the fluid today, you can have bananas, white rice, apples/sauce, white bread and soda crackers. Those are easy on a stomach to digest and usually don't cause problems. Avoid anything dairy. While dairy won't necessarily hurt you, it does make things feel coated and thick, and you'll be more likely to gag or cough- and that can bring things up. If you have diarrhea at all, you need to stay away from dairy because you won't have the good gerbies to digest it and it will just make matters worse. If you don't have diarrhea, and you can make it through the second day, then you stick to a bland diet for a few days- and just avoid fried stuff, grease and fat. At the moment though, just sip some water and rest.
