Is there any effective medication for agoraphobia/ panic attacks?!
Question: I need to get a job and get on with my life, but how can I do that when simply driving to the store sends me on a hellish fit of fear and panic? I cant even get to the doctors easily....

YES!!!
I take klonopin and prozac......they have been life savers. go see a psychiatrist, they know the meds, if they arent working, what to switch you to next, if need be.

Yes there is treatment, you can go natural, like me, or you can go to the doctors and get meds. It is a personal choice. I decided natural because I had read all the stuff about what meds can do, so I tried this option first. I went to a councellor and a naturopath who gave me St Johns wort, in a herbal form, also put oats in it for calming. Also carried around with me Rescue Remedy and put 10 drops in a bottle of water and sipped on that whenever I went out(which wasn't often), I read a lot of self help books. Find yourself a really good herbalist/naturopath and they will help you. I suffered for 2 years before I finally got some relief, now I am almost over it. But it comes back at times so I have stuff on hand all the time.
