Am I bi-polar?!

Question: All of my friends tell me that I filp out on them randomly. I have medicine to take that's supposed to help, but I won't take it. It's not me. I'm running out of friends because they keep telling me I act like a bit**. I don't know what to do. I can't help it if I'm mean. That's who I am. If people don't like it, then they can pack their shi* and leave. Like, I don't know what to do anymore. Am I really bi-polar, or is my doctor lyi9ng to get my money. I know all about conspiracies and I think my doctor is part of the one that is trying to get people hooked on drugs that they can make money off of.

no..its absolutely normal to be a complete psycho..

It sounds like you are bipolar...AND paranoid. Trust me...I'm just like you. Take your meds.

Hello there,
since you presented so few symptoms I'll tell you what the symptoms for bi-polar disorder are and you can see if they fit. Take into consideration the fact that the symptoms don't necessarily need to apply cumulatively.
Bipolar disorder involves periods of elevated mood, or mania, alternating with periods of depression. A person with bipolar disorder typically cycles between these two extremes, often with periods of normal mood in between. The pattern of symptoms differs from person. I myself have a friend that has bi-polar disorder and he has periods of time in which he is OK and then for a while he is ecstatic for no reason, and then he doesn't talk to anyone , turns off his cell phone, doesn't even talk to his parents. These episodes come and go not being generated by outside factors. He is now under treatment and it helps a lot, as I understand bi-polar disorder is treated with therapy first and then medication and therapy both.

There's no way to tell if you are bipolar from what you just wrote. First off, being a ***** and being mean are not symptoms of Bipolar disorder. They are just personality traits. Unless you turn sweet the next instant of course. That being said, you have some sort of paranoia; there is no conspiracy. Sorry to burst you bubble. But that's not even a sign of Bipolar diorder. It just be a ver good sign that you are pissed off at whoever is making you take the medications. The only clue in your paragraph that gave away the possibilty of you being bipolar is that you are on medications. That means that at some point someone felt you were acting irrationally enough to have you mentally evaluated (I promise they weren't in on it to. They more than likely just loved you.) Then I doctor must have diagnosed you with bipolar disorder and prescribed you medication, which I assure you would run him a very high cost if it was conspiracy of false diagnosis. Therefore, I think you are bipolar. So am I and it took mre three years to believe. It'll be a batlle, but just remember you the patient and you do have right. Ask questions and lots of them. And state your concerns even if there are lots of them. If your doctor doesn't satisfy you, find another one and possibly a therapist where you can vent your frustrations. But just never lose hope.

Almost ever person's brain works fine until there develops some social disorder in life. Then our wonderful brain starts to have problems. Bad expectations start the upper lobes discharging depression chemicals into the fluid that eventually ruins good thinking. The lower or auto brain starts to run things too slow or too fast. Good mental health like happiness requires lots of work. None the less it is easy enough to be left behind in social practices and rules with friends and family . Each year it gets worse as rejection makes life harder and harder . Unravel the pressure by watching every one and being safe. Find one new friend who is like yourself to share the learning experience.

AGAIN BACK ON YOUR MEDS PLEASE YOU WILL FEEL BETTER
