Advice needed- quickly!!?!

Question: I feel SO detached today. Since I woke up. I thought it would wear off, but it hasn't.
I really just wanna lay down for the rest of the day, but I can't- I've got physio this afternoon (1:30) and the ambulance will be picking me up in less than 2 hrs.
Thing is, i'm thinking about not going today.
I know i'll be mad at myself if i miss it, but i just feel so scared to actually go out feeling this detached.

I want to know what you would do if you were me.

Would you go anyway or would you decide to give yourself a break and rest til it goes away?

Please help me.

no don't give yourself break, its the worse thing you can do,because it will just make it easier for you to give yourself a break next time, and the next.. make yourself, you will feel better, when you've been,, because it will be an obstacle you've conquered and that will lift you i know its difficult to have to do the things you don't want to, i go through this everyday of my life and i would be a hermit if i allowed myself so get ready and just bite the bullet, then posts us on yahoo and tell us how you feel i would very disappointed if you don't feel like a million pound when you get back so go on what are you waiting for get ready best wishes

go to the doctor maybe you are depressed

Just relax your mind, Do few minutes meditation and take long breath.I think may be u r upset about the past things happened
If i were you , i will never recall about the past and i would just concentrate on my future

If you are already in treatment for depression, taking medication and physio then you already know the way you are feeling is a function of your trouble. You don't need a break or a rest, you need to motivate your carcass out of the bed and out the door. Depression only wins if you quit trying. So go. What's the worst that will happen? You will feel better? Pretty good bet you won't if you continue to lay there.

Go to doctor sure he is going to help you ..All Best

Take it from someone who knows!! It's really important for you to get out and about. I understand how hard it can be but you must try. It's not good to stay indoors all the time. I've been there and you'll only feel worse. Even if you can't face it you have to push yourself. Just take baby steps and take it day by day, hour by hour if you have to. You WILL get better with time. If the current meds aren't working don't be scared to try some other type. Zoloft really helped me, but everyone is different. Good luck!!

I'd say the Citalopram is responsible: Special warnings about Citalopram hydrobromide
In clinical studies, antidepressants increased the risk of suicidal thinking and behavior in children and adolescents with depression and other psychiatric disorders. Anyone considering the use of Celexa or any other antidepressant in a child or adolescent must balance this risk with the clinical need. Celexa has not been studied in children or adolescents and is not approved for treating anyone less than 18 years old.

Additionally, the progression of major depression is associated with a worsening of symptoms and/or the emergence of suicidal thinking or behavior in both adults and children, whether or not they are taking antidepressants. Individuals being treated with Celexa and their caregivers should watch for any *****change in symptoms or any new symptoms that appear suddenly*****--especially agitation, anxiety, hostility, panic, restlessness, extreme hyperactivity, and suicidal thinking or behavior--and *****report them to the doctor immediately*****. Be especially observant at the beginning of treatment or whenever there is a change in dose.

In recommended doses, Celexa does not seem to impair judgment or motor skills. However, a theoretical possibility of such problems remains, so you should use caution when driving or operating dangerous equipment until you are certain of Celexa's effect. ~~~ Also see http://crazymeds.us

Good for you. You are doing the right thing by pushing yourself through this and going. Pat yourself on the back today and know that you did it. Show the world how, you can do it. Keep up the good work!!!!!
