What are careers for ppl with ADD?!

Question: Recall reading a book about ADHD - ADD - Hyperactivity written by a person with ADHD where prior to an ADHD diagnosis, the person worked for a large utility company reading gas and electric meters.

Outdoor work, walking, brief stops at houses - work which fit within the idea of a short attention span/inattention/distractibility. Good luck.

People with ADD can have any career they want. They are not limited because they have ADD, if they have trouble controlling the symptoms there are meds that can help.

If someone really doesn't want to be on meds and can't control it well, then something very hands on would be good (not sitting at a desk). Something creative would probably be best -- photographer maybe. I dunno, but really, just because you have ADD it doesn't change what you can and can't do with your life.
