Is it bad that I can make my self throw up when im not sick? (not bulimic or ano!

Question: I can make myself throw up when i dont have the flu or food poisoning. Also Im not Bulimic or Anorexic.
Its usually because i worry to much about something bad happening and its only at night. I use to be worse like once every week now its maybe once a month?
But really random things will make me do it to, like last month i thought of someone eating a cheese burger & threw up. Its not like once either its about.. ehh, maybe five times? Or intill im completely empty with nothing else to throw up.
I think i have Seperation Anxiety because I hate to be away from my mom. & at night even though shes right down the hall i get scared thats something bad is going to happen to me or her. & I think this might be one of the reasons why i throw up to.. /:

I really dont know. But is this a bad thing? Is it just because I worry to much?

It sounds like anxiety could be making you feel like throwing up. Anxiety can affect us in different ways and this happens to be the way it affects you. You could talk to a doctor about your anxiety and how it has this affect on your stomach. Perhaps medication can help.
It is hard for us when we want to stay near out moms.
Maybe therapy could help you begin to come up with ways to help you gradually work on your separation anxiety.
Good Luck.

Sounds as if you are having a hard time at the moment. have you talked to your mom bout how you feel? while you may not have anorexia or bulimia you may however qualify for ED NOS (eating disorder not otherwise specified) if you are concerned i suggest to see your doctor to get a referral to a dietitian who may be able to help you

If your randomly throwing up, then I have no idea why you thought to raise the issue on Yahoo answers? If someone who obviously isn't able to make a proper diagnosis over the internet gives you some bad advice, then they may end up worsening the situation.
Go to see your doctor. If you have a health quiery, then that's the only thing you should be doing, not asking strangers on the internet.
I hope you solve the problem.

you are bulimic. dont say you aren't. seek help. it will only get worse and lead to major health problems. i know!! i have been battling with it for ten years.

Your a candidate for separation anxiety if your less than 18. I doubt thats the reason why your throwing up.

Are you doing it with your hand or can you actually make yourself throw up with your mind.

If your using your hand or other objects I suggest you stop because not only are you messing with your fluid and electrolyte balance (which can kill you) you are erroding your esophogus (which can cause you to get a relocation and have to be fed through a pec tube in your abdomen)

If you can mentally make yourself throw up then you have some medical condtion or psychological issues (possible an anxiety dissorder) that need to be treated. I would see a psychiatrist and get it resolved because vomiting will damage your body especially at the amounts you state. It would be a shame that you have to have your esophogus removed.

Most importantly quite trying to diagnose yourself because your not a trained proffesional no matter how many books you read. You might have a neurological problem that can only be seen by a pet scan or some other dissorder.

Is it bad? Worrying is not bad (in moderation). Vomiting is bad especially if your not physically sick. I have had anorexic girls die on me because they were dehydrated. I am not saying your anorexic but you fall into the same category with a diagnosis of Fluid and Electrolyte imbalance r/t self-induced vomiting or underlying dissease process.
