Celexa- working already or not?!
Question: I started taking celexa 4 days ago for severe anxiety and moderate depression. The anxiety has caused me to have panic attacks every day for about the past 2 months.
In the last 4 days I have not had a single panic attack! My throat is no longer tight and I can breathe better. I am having some other side effects, including headaches, nausea, fatigue and muscle pain, but I feel so much more relaxed.
I realize that it's possible this could be like a placebo effect where I think it's going to work and it does, but I have been skeptical from the start.
What do you guys think?

Generally, there is a rough week or two adjustment period to the drug were the side effects may be more prominent. Usually, you can expect the full results in about a month. This isn't to say that you couldn't be experiencing some benefits already.
