There is no rigourous definition for this, but if you feel that you can use both hands/arms equally well for all or nearly all the same tasks, then you can safely qualify your self as ambidextrous.
being ambidextrous simply means that you have equal ability with both arms. if you can write, throw, catch etc with equal proficiency in each arm then yes

Basically if you can do things equally well with both hands [like write] for example, then you are ambidextrous. It means you are equally skilled with both hands.
