who ever i talk with an knows me better is fine with me - they are both knowledgeable they both know meds- if i had to really choose one probably number 1
I would say 1 since they work in the specialty, psychiatry.
I would rather the psychiatrist because he can prescribe specific drugs for different types of mental health conditions
yes
IN MY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES WITH BOTH AS PERSCRIBERS I WOULD HAVE TO SAY #1.
THATS THEIR PRIMARY JOB IS MENTAL HEALTH, AND ITS JUST SAFER I THINK. THE PSYCHIATRIST IS SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO PERSCIBE ANY KIND OF MEDS NEEDED FOR AND SOME PHYSICIANS ARENT LICENSED WITH A D.E.A #. THAT COULD CAUSE YOU TO MISS OUT ON THE RIGHT MEDICATION.
