Question: What will happen if you take one lexapro!?
like in the heat of an anxiety attack!. not regularly, just whenever you feel you need it!. will it work!? or do you have to take it regularly to get the results!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

as it is an ssri, it will give you a mild feeling of good will and happiness which may calm you down!. SSRI's DON'T work in the long term, even though they are perscribed as long term drugs frequently!.
It's not worth taking in an anxiety attack, since they last roughly 15 minutes and most oral drugs take 30 minutes to metabolise and affect you, unless you planned on making yourself some form of lexapro iv!? which is definitely unadvisable since it could release far too much of the drug in to your system at once (especially in extended release pills)!.
And assuming that anxiety attacks were long enough for the lexapro to work (also assuming that it would work) that would be a sure fire road towards emotional/mental dependancy!.
How long do your anxiety attacks last!? If you are dead set on something then I would look in to Valium or another Benzodiazepine for short term relief!. If you do decide to get the, remember to only use them in the SHORT TERM!. They are extremely addictive and it is easier to form a habit with them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
