Question: Why do some people mistake my OCD symptoms & germaphobia for paranoia!?
My mom always wants me to spend the night by her house!. She's mentally ill & always under the influence of steroid overdose, & she urinates EVERYWHERE!. She would always give me PISSY blankets to sleep on!. She's very evil & gives me the pissy ones on PURPOSE, just to pick an argument!. So, when I sniff the blankets, she calls me paranoid!.
I'm over & done with her!. She & I got into a heated argument that lead to a shoving match last night because of this!.

This is a difficult question to answer without knowing your age and if staying at your mother's is a choice or not!. It is certainly a very bad sign that the relationship has become physical - these things have a horrible tendency to escalate!. I would strongly recommend not staying in this environment at all if you can avoid it and, as soon as possible, seek the help of a responsible third party such as a school counselor or even your family doctor!. You answered your own question!. She is mentally ill!. It will never be easy to care for her because she is mentally ill but well enough to act in nasty ways!. All you can do is try to be patient and kind!. Try to think of how she would act is she wasn't nuts!. They mistake your symptoms because they're afraid whoever is out to get you will miss and get them! JK!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
that's just sick!.!.!. i wouldn't sleep there!.!.!. she probably suffers from OCD and wants to project it on you to make herself feel better!. Maybe she should stay off the rhoids and get help!. If you are older than 18, move the hell out of your house!. Plus, this isn't helping your OCD!. People with your kind of disorder need patience, and love to help them get better!.
