They have a lot of information on schizophrenia!. The first and third websites have booklets in pdf format that you can download and save for future reference!.
There is also an excellent book, "Surviving Schizophrenia: A Manual for Families, Patients, and Providers" by E!. Fuller Torrey, Fifth Edition!. I know Barnes & Noble has it!. Amazon!.com only has the 4th edition!. That is very good reading and tells a lot about schizophrenia!.

Please show your love and concern for her!. Affirm her!. Schizophrenia is a torment of the mind!. Those who have this illness think differently from the normal person!.
Read up on this illness by googling or buying a book on this illness!.
Hug her and try to cheer her up!. Be around her!. Sometimes, your presence is enough to console her!.
Try to get her to take medication!. Let her see the doctor regularly!. Get her enough rest!. You can try to give her Vitamin B3!. It may help!.
You can bring her to a park or beach, if possible and get some sunshine!. Speak words of comfort to her!.
It takes time to recover from schizophrenia!. It may take weeks or months!. Please be patient!. Talk to her doctor for possible things you can do!.

But ,,, Schizophrenia is really a severe disorder where thinking is not in order !.!.!. so support wouldn't be of much help !.!.!.it is not like depression !.!.in Sch!. the patient lives in his own world of distorted thinking
and with each !.!.!.Strike of illness he/she would be down drifting

Just be a friend to her like you are to your other friends!. Ask her what she would like you to do!. Don't be afraid of her!.!.!.!.!.!.how can she accept your help if you are afraid of her!? It is very rare for people with schizophrenia to be dangerous!. I know lots of people with this illness and they are generally really nice people!.
I am sure if you show an interest in your friend and let her know that you want to understand this illness, then she will really appreciate it!. Just be there for her!. You sound like a nice person and I hope things work out with you and your friendWww@Answer-Health@Com

What would really help you is to educate yourself as much as you can on what this disease is!. In order to help and support someone you must have empathy for that person, and to understand exactly what they are going through!. As someone who has been in the Human Services field, I know what I'm talking about!.
