Question: Her only defense!?
My girlfriend has been diagnosed with BPD!. When I asked her why she didnt want to attend therapy she said to me that this disorder is all that she has, against this big bad world!. If you take that away from her than what will she be, this is all she knows, what will she be when this is away!. She also said that this is her gift and her curse, she doesnt want to get better!. I dont understand why she would need protection against the world, why does she think that!? And why did she say all this!? What does she mean by this!? thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

It is not possible even after 100 years, to understand the secrets of creations of human beings with different nature, characters tics, diseases etc!. so this is also one type of it!. How it happened to her, why it happened !.!. more questions are there!.

You need to look up BPD and see what it is and the you will understand what she is going through a little more!.!. The Brain has polars ( regions) and when you have bi-polar disorder!.!. That means 2-bi polars ( regions ) are not functioning properly!.!. It is different for every person !.!. depending on what regions are affected!.!. But that could explain her thoughts being so outrageous!.!. The more you read and find out about it, the more you can understand her!.!. For now just listen when she needs to talk !.!. and try not to stir things up with her!.!. They have mood swings and can get in a bad or depressed mood very easy!.!. Well, therapy is unlikely to do much for a Borderline anyway, afaik there are no proven effective treatments for it!. So I'd leave her to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
