Your nervous and and afriad to branch out of your circle!. You sound like you may have been picked on or maybe bullied when you were younger so you like to stay to yourself!. I use to be the same way!.

You should go to the people invites even if you don't want too!. I use to tell myself pretend like its something you have to do and I would go to parties and stuff and just hang around the person I knew untill the introduced me too other people!.

Now that I did go to the invites I have friends now!. So when I do get invited to parties and I know theres going to be a lot of people I don't know there Invite maybe one or two friends to go with me so I can feel safe!.

Take a chance, it could be the best experince in your life!. Sometimes you just got to jump off of that cliff your standing on and just see what will happen when you get to the bottom!. Will you fall on rocks or will you fall on a field of flowers, ya won't know untill you try!.

Hope this will help you stop being the loner!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Because you are too self conscious!. People are asking you to different places and you are refusing because you don't
want to leave your comfort zone, don't let
this continue, get out there before you lose all your friends like I did!. People are so preoccupied with who they are and how they look they won't even notice you in particular so give this story
a happy ending, and that will make two of us!. Good Luck Friend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Twenge feels that the idea of individualism in American culture may be contributing to these changes: "Our greater autonomy may lead to increased challenges and excitement, but it also leads to greater isolation from others, more threats to our bodies and minds, and thus higher levels of free-floating anxiety!."
