Answers:
I have really bad anxiety/panic, which seems to get a lot worse during pregnancy!. I got off all of my meds before getting pregnant, and the anxiety/panic attacks were so bad the OB decided the benefits outweighed the risks, so put me on Zoloft, which is safe during pregnancy!. Im on a low dose, and feel so much better, no more anxiety and panic!. I would consult your OB as well as your psychiatrist, and decide what is best for you!. If your anxious during your pregnancy!. A happy Mom makes a happy baby!.Make sure you get a good OB that deals with people with anxiety and understands your issues as well, which makes a big difference!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ativan is not safe to take during pregnancy!. It is pregnancy Category D which means there is clear evidence to show that it causes risks to a fetus!. There are likely other medications that your dr could give you that world be safer!. Talk to your dr BEFORE getting pregnant and find something that would work so you can be stabilized on something different before getting pregnant!. You dont want to have to switch meds and have all the rushing feelings of a new pregnancy at the same time!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You shouldn't be taken any kinds of drugs while your babies brain is developing!. However you have to go priority- if you can't make it without it!. I know a girl who had 2 children and took them but tied her tubes because she didn't want to have children on strong medicine while they were developing!. It is a know poplur serial killer who was on death row - his mother took phenobarbitol for anxiety!.He was bad from a boy!. Said he started out taking animal lives!. I know another girl who have had 7 children and they were all find and she had to take strong medicines for anxiety!. Maybe the serial guy was just going to be anyway!. Just food for thought!. There are plenty of articles and other girls with you on message boards and blog sharing their stories in the psychology section online!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
