Answers:
I used to have the same exact problem!. It bothered me until I realized one thing- it was my anxiety, not me!. You CAN control your anxiety, even though I know it may seem impossible!. You and your anxiety are two totally separate things!. What helped me was thinking of funny, happy things, often what I had seen on TV that day!. If this helps, you are DEFINETLY not alone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I thought I was the only one- I fell EXACTLY the same way!. Sometimes (OK, most of the time) I feel like I'm going to die and I force myself to stay awake!. The only nights I get a sort of decent night's sleep is when I'm really, really tired- or when I sleep on the couch with the TV on!. It's terrible! My mom occasionally takes a 1/2 a zyrtec, I think it's called to calm her down- she's had a little anxiety since my dad died 8 years ago and she's alone in their home and she's 90 years old now!. Maybe ask your Dr!. about a mild anti-anxiety pill for nighttime!. I should, but I haven't yet!. Good LuckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I do!. I think mine is more related to needing time to myself after everyone else is in bed!. But yeah, I get bug eyed at night after about 10pm!. I have prescription sleep aids but they don't PUT me to sleep!. I don't really have a problem staying asleep but getting to sleep, that is a different story!. I hate it!. I am usually up til about 4am now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Actually yes!. I do not enjoy the notion of 7 hours where I am unconscious and have no control over what happens!. Often I will begin to fall asleep and then catch myself!. However, as I am tired I finally go to sleep anyway!. Fortunately, so far nothing has happened!.!.!.!. as yet!.
Unless you are drinking a lot of coffee or drugs to keep yourself awake, this is a mild neurosis and not a serious illness!. Here are some tips - I exercise during the day, some nights I am so tired I can't stay up!. Herbal teas help - chamomile or mint!. Sometimes I just think to myself - well I am just going to take a nap!. Oh, and sex definately helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i always feel troubled at night because my mind wonders to all of these problems, embarassments, and questions in my life!. on bad nights, i might be up till six in the morning with the worst feeling in my stomach!. i try to listen to music before going to bed to have something nice to focus my thoughts on!. i don't know if this is the type of anxiety you're talking about but this method helps me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have it too!.What I would suggest is to do something relaaxing before you go to bed!.(i!.e Drawing,Reading,Listing to music things like that)Watching tv or playing video games makes things a little more stressful and if you have a lot of things on your mind try to foccus on something relaxing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My ex had that!. Try to relax in the evening before you go to bed!. I've heard that yoga does wonders for the mind so if you're willing I think that will work!. Try putting some lavender oil on a hankerchief!. That scent is relaxing!. If not, you should see your doctor!. My ex took medication - FOR A WHILE - and then he stopped so it doesn't become a life long thing!. But you should speak to your doctor!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I also have the same problem!. I have a panic disorder!. Also I have anxiety more at night because I'm scared of dying!. Sometimes I even tell my husband 'if I fall asleep check if I'm breathing' thats how bad it has gotten for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problem!. It is wierd, it just developed in the last year or two!. I feel so anxious about going to sleep, like I'm going to die if I do!. I have to sit up and watch TV and just fall asleep against my will!. You're not the only one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
