The first thing you must do is speak with your doctor!. He or she can help you to determine if what you are experiencing is the result of some medical problem, or if it is a sleep or nutrition issue!. With those things ruled out, your physician can refer you to a mental health specialist who can take an inventory of your symptoms to determine if there is a mental health problem!. These specialists rely on the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IVR) to make an accurate diagnosis!. For bipolar disorder, there are several characteristics, one of which is rapid change in mood, but many of the symptoms must be present over a period of time to accurately make the diagnosis!. To find out more information on bipolar disorder, visit the American Psychological Association website or the National Institutes of Mental Health website!. Both of those sites can give you more specifics about mood disorders!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It's not that easy to say whether you're bipolar or not!. From what you've described, I would say you're not as you don't have episodes of mania and depression!. It is possible that you are just depressed, or, if you're a teen or pre-teen, you may be undergoing the oh-so-wonderful mood swings that are inevitable at that age!. I'm not a doctor, so I can't really give you a diagnosis!. If you think you may have a problem, definitely make an appointment with a psychologist, who can let you know what's going on and possibly refer you to a psychiatrist, if necessary!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Diagnosis of Bipolar Affective Mood Disorder, (Manic Depression), is not something one should seek in a forum such as this!. Sleep deprivation is one of perhaps a thousand possible explanations of the worrying situations you describe!. Your individual idiosyncrasy is another logical explanation!.

You sound like you're depressed, or have anger problems!. You don't sound bipolar!. Bipolar episodes last for weeks or months!. And mania is more than "happy!." Mania is "delusional to the point of thinking you are super-human!."
