How can I feel more awake and alert?!
Question: How can I feel more awake and alert!?
I generally get about 8 hours sleep, but I feel really sleepy and drowsy alot of the time!. I don't smoke pot or take drugs (only once in a blue moon) and I eat very healthily!. What can I do other than drink 20 espresso's everyday!? Thankyou everyone!.xWww@Answer-Health@Com

Vitamins - Iron in particular - will help!. If there isn't enough iron in the blood it can leave you feeling a little sluggish!.
Some people use drinks like Red Bull to waken up a little bit more!. I would say that's the wrong approach!.
Try exercising (movement wakens you up), taking a shower (cool to moderately lukewarm temperature so you are not TOO comfortable in it), and put on some music with a loud/energetic beat and try moving to it to get your blood pumping!.
Some people also burn essential oils like Eucalyptus or Pine which have very fresh sharp scents that can alert your senses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go to see your doctor and explain this to him!. You may need blood tests to discern a cause!.

You could be sleeping too much - try setting alarm for an hour or two later - you may find your sleep routine is interrupting your sleep pattern mid cycle!.
