i am a counselor!.!.!.and usually people see me before they go to a therapist/ psychologist!.!.etc etc ( i'm a social worker) and i have a lot of clients who are afraid to go to these places, and i could understand why!.!.it's something new that they have never done before, and they have to talk to people they have never met about their most inner thoughts and problems in life!
now that i pretty much just scared you!.!.!.don't be!.!.counselors aren't there to judge you, we take everything with a grain of salt!. just know that they are they to help you, and guide you to the best solution possible!. and if you don't feel comfortable, tell someone and find someone that works well for you!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've been through two periods of seeing counselors in my life!. No it is not scary!. These people are here to help you!.
If you do find your counselor scarey, it would be a good idea to consider switching to another therapist!. It doesn't mean your old counselor was bad, just not a good match for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its hard at first and prob a little scary before you go in, but it really works, and once you go a few times it gets alot easier to talk and stuff

it feels one sided!. You tell the person everything on a regular basis but you really dont feel like you know the person!. Plus they are writing stuff about you that you can't read!. I rather talk to my friends or someone who loves me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
