Question: Is anyone going through what I am!?
I am a 29yr old college grad that is now being supported by my girlfriend and my parents!. I had a job making over 50k/year, but had to leave (I was NOT fired)!. Now the problem is that I cant find a full-time job that pays!. Part of my problem is that I have too much pride to go and take just any old job!. I'm to the point where I'm gonna go work bar security or some lame job just to make a buck!. This has given me mass depression!. I've been out of work for about two months!. Is anyone else going through what I am thats reading this post!? I dont have kids, but this has been the toughest time in my life!. I'm afraid that if I start one of these ridiculous jobs, go through the training they offer (while knowing that i'm not getting paid crap for it) I will then land a real job, wasting my time and effort at the crappy job I've applied for!. He was part of a marketing company that, with four guys, made over 2 million a year, but in 01 the economy in Dallas crashed and!.!.!. he was out of a job!.
My mom had been home schooled me and my brother, and neither one of them could find a job in their fields, mom cause she hadn't worked in 16 years and dad cause there wasn't anything!.
He was unwilling to go get just anything, so my grandparents had to help us out with everything, and out of desperation, he started his own graphics/marketing company!.
It's finally taken off, and my grandparents have stopped helping us, but he was very depressed for years because he had to have his parents help him!.
It was an incredibly hard time for all of us!.
I know it's not quite the same thing, but other people have gone through this kind of thing, too!.!.!.

Its hard to accept less when you know what you are "worth"!. I would get the crappy job and still look for the job that you want!. Sometimes you do have to settle to earn a buck, but you dont have to retire from the crappy job!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
no, ur not the only one!. I graduate in May 2007!. Now I'm going back to school this Fall!. I don't think its a waste of time getting a crap job to maintain ur income until a real job comes along!. Income is income!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You have to do what you have to do!.When you think about it, the "crappy" jobs are usually the ones that make our lives comfortable!.They happen behind the scenes but people take it all for granted!.For example, people have so little respect for truck drivers!. They don't realize that their food, cars, t!.v's, medication, pretty much everything, comes to us through them!. Take pride in knowing that you aren't relying on your parents or girlfriend!. Be a man and perhaps in time you'll be able to live the way you have been accustomed to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
