I understand you are nervous about this and I hope you read this before tomorrow! I was terrified to file for disability (SSDI) but I had depression, hospitalizations, anxiety disorder, agoraphobia, to name a few!. Be sure to have your medical information available for your meeting, which should include doctors names and contact information, as well as dates of visits and dates of any hospitalizations and reasons for them!. Bring bottles of any meds you are taking!. Have a list of your symptoms!. The person you will be speaking with is going to be kind to you, so don't feel afraid to be honest!. He or she will be asking most of the questions, so it will be easy to talk with the person!. That person is trained to work with people applying for or needing disability reviews!. If you are anxious, don't hide it!. When they see your honest symptoms, that actually helps you!. I actually kept a pocket calendar and used codes for things!. If I had a panic attack, I'd put a P on that day!. If I felt depressed, I put a D!. If I felt really agoraphobic, I'd put an A!. This was all to keep track of what my life was like!. Keep good records as you go forward also and show up with all the details I mentioned above!. Remember, they are there to help you, and they will need factual evidence to make a decision!. Disability is nothing to be ashamed of and can be temporary, it doesn't have to be forever!. Be brave and be honest!. Good luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to patient!. Sometimes takes more than a year to collect!. Get those doctors' letters in order!. Dates are very important!. If you need help on the forms ask your case worker!. Sometimes, you get help from the state (Medicaid) to cover the gap before you get Social Security!. I'll be your brother can give you tips!. Lastly, stay on top of your meds because there are bad reactions from certain meds ( quiz your doctor about this)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your going to need something from your doctors!. And your mental history!. My ex wife has mental problems and she is now collecting SS because of it!. But I know she needed a lot of medical records to prove her claim!. Looks like you need someone to talk to!. I'm a good listener if you like to contact me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

How could you get SS!? you are only 18!. you could not have worked long enough to earn anything!. are talking about welfare!? Or disability insurance!? I think you just need to grow up, get on your feet, and don't burden the government with your problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
