I have a similar thing about jumping off tall things!. Falling to my death!. Its not that I want to die!.!.!.but I'm very impulsive and curious, and I want to know what it feels like to fall!.
Good thing we have skydiving!.
But its less about self harm and more about trying to experience a free fall!.
I think you should bring it up!. I mean, if you're worried enough to ask a question about it, you should probably bring it up!. If its nothing, then nothing will happen, and if its something then the right steps will be taken!. Better safe than sorry, right!?

Hey,
good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely mention it! I agree that it could be body integrity identity disorder, but to self diagnose or have the internet do it isn't a great idea!. However, it does give you a place to start!.

It's more than a bit odd, but is something that can be dealt with!. I know someone who is the same way, only that she is obsessed with wanting to cut off her legs because they are too fat!. She's on meds for it and goes for therapy but she says it's a terrible thing that she didn't realize was so unusual!.

There is a thing called "Body integrity identity disorder!." This is when the sufferer has a constant feeling that a certain part of the body is unconnected to them!. They want to cut it off and get rid of it!. It is quite an uncommon disorder but awareness of it is growing!. Tell the people at your medical assesment and they may be able to refer you to someone who can help you with these feelings!. Also, be careful about you feeling about killing yourself!. they may lead to depression and self harm!. maybe you are subconciously missing something from you life and when you find out what it is, it will fill up this empty space!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
