my husband takes zyprexia 30 Mg's at night and 10 Mg's in the am!. haldol 10 Mg's twice a day!. He constantly grinds his teeth and paces the floor!. does anyone have these side affects!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its most likely to be the haldol causing the side effects, there is medication available to counteract them, so I think he really needs to see who prescribes his meds in order to have them reviewed!. Its a horrible side-effect, and he doesn't need to put up with it as there's plenty that can be done to help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have not taken these meds but I have taken other psychotropic drugs which caused me to grind my teeth!. Many of these meds have the same side effects!. My doctor was not concerned that I grinded my teeth b/c I wasn't severely doing it - not causing damageWww@Answer-Health@Com
That's a common problem with those medications!. It's worth mentioning the next time you see your provider!. Oftentimes there is another medication that can be taken in combination with those medications to help with the pacing and grinding!.

I would ask your husband what he is thinking about when he is grinding his teeth and pacing the floor!. If he is having bad side effects to the drugs, perhaps its time to see his doctor again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
