does my school have to find out!? because one of the rules is you'll be asked to leave if you cut but I really want help I just don't want my school to find out!. is that possible!? [i go to private]Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, your therapy and medical information is confidential!. The only thing they need to know is basically your immunization records and any illnesses that might require treatment at school!. I'm really happy that you are going to get help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'm sure if you get a therapist that isn't affiliated with your school system, they aren't obligated to tell them!. If you talk to you parents about it I'm sure you can come up with a solution that doesn't get you kicked out of school!. As long as ur parents know u cut school, u have nothing to worry about, because u earn their trust and they shouldnt tell the school if they already know!. The reason u get in trouble in school when cutting is because the school finds out and then have to tell ur parents,but since u already told the people who r in charge of u, no one else needs to know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
yeah!. as long as your therapy wouldn't be during the hours of school they wouldn't have to know!. And besides isn't it like morally wrong to kick someone out of your school because they cut themselves!? like that's a serious problem, and they're basically making people feel like they have to hide what they're doing and can't seek help!.If they give you trouble at school just try to fight it the best way you can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well, you're getting help so that's good!. i think it's a part of the doctor/patient confidentiality!. unless i'm mistaken, i don't think they can legally tell the school without your consent!. but if it's something like cutting, i don't know if they would be obligated!. either way, i wouldn't stop going to therapy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The only way the school will ever find out is if you make this a public thing, if you tell a bunch of people, or if your parents tell the school, which would be a dumb thing to do!. I think you should get therapy, it's more important than what the school thinks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If your school finds out that you have been cutting, but also find out you are getting help, there shouldnt be a problem!.

heh!.!. i used to cut my self ALOT daily, in class, bathrooms, n such!.!.!.
But i got tired of pain it didn't fulfill my needs any more i switched to loud music, art, and smiles, lol, it helped
but most of all i found some one, who wasn't a Dr!. or anything, to talk to, he is now my brother :3 we've been 2 gether (not like THAT) for a while now just find some one 2 talk 2!.!.!. me even :D(c!.j!.135@hotmail!.com) ;3Www@Answer-Health@Com
