What makes some people more likely to become addicted to smoking?!

Question: What makes some people more likely to become addicted to smoking!?
Answers:
Genes, for one thing!. The person who says it isn't is full of it!. Some people don't have the receptor sites for nicotine, and they can't get addicted at all, no matter how much they smoke!. Some people have a gene that halves the rate at which nicotine gets removed from their bloodstream, and they actually smoke only half as many cigarettes as others! Sex also matters -- teen boys take *much* longer on average to get addicted than teen girls -- and so does age -- preteens are more susceptible than older people!. There are many other factors as well!. People who don't smoke much are obviously much less likely to get addicted than people who do it all the time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

People who don't listen to their instincts when they first smoke are the ones that become addicted!. Smoking makes you cough and dizzy those first few times!. That's your body saying STOP, it is a poison! There's nothing else in it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is nothing that makes anyone more or less likely to become addicted to nicotine!. It is the drug that is addictive - not our personalities, or genes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Somebody who has a history of previous addictions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
