I'm not taking it but I have done in the past!. Be very careful about this: there's been court cases about how addictive it can be, and coming off the drug often requires supervision (you should stop slowly)!. I stopped without any supervision and had withdrawal symptoms for about two weeks: nausea, sweating, dizziness, headaches etc!. When I looked into this, I discovered that Paroxetine has some of the worst withdrawal symptoms of any anti-depressant!. There is debate as to whether the manufacturer is aware of this and downplayed it!. Some people report symptoms lasting months and have to be 'weaned' off the medication!. I managed to just stop, but it was very unpleasant!. I'd advise anyone starting this medication to do some research and discuss the side-effects and possible dependence with their doctor!. I wouldn't take it again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
iv taken seroxat also known as paroxetine!. it made me suicidal with many attempts, and when i came off it i was so ill i couldn't stop crying and i got like these electric shocks starting from my head all the way down to my feet, but all tho i had a ruff time on them a lot of people don't have any side effects and clam that seroxat really helped them!. I'm on venlafaxine now and have had no side effects at all but there will be side effects when its time to come off them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Ditto I used to take it, when i first started I was just slightly depressed with a little OCD, within months of been on peroxatine I was a prolific self-harmer and had attempted suicide on anumber of occasions, if you are on it get off it while you can, doctors are warned against still prescribing this drug, although you often get the odd one who dosnt listen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Paroxetine is the generic for/ Paxil is a great drug /and used my many/ it has to be taken properly/ and it takes a few weeks /to work its way into your system /many women take/ this drug /for post par tum depression/ and are very happy with it/Www@Answer-Health@Com
