says nice things about you but you get the feeling they don't want to hang out or message you even though you try to be nice to them & send messages!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes we have to accept that there are some people in life that we can't connect with even though they are polite and seem interested!. It has nothing to do with you personally everybody has different needs, tastes and personalities of those that they choose to be friends with!. Just move on!. I'm an old ****so I'll give it a shot here to answer you!. I have friends from many age groups, and it seems that each age group has their own set of activities!. I enjoy the company of those who are substantially younger than me, but I am physically unable to participate in many of their activities, so I don't hang out with them much!. On the other hand, I enjoy watching some of the sports activities they participate in!. It's fun to watch them striving to do well, and I can relate to my own days of competing!. It is also fun to go to a sporting event with some of them, I've found that I often can see the better athleticism of some, and when I mention it they are often a well spring of information, names, stats, etc!.
The other side of this coin is just as valid though, I really can't imagine many of them enjoying some of the more sedate hobbies I now make my own!. I wouldn't want to bore them silly and lose the connection we share in other areas!.
Try finding mutual interests!. Just like other friendships, that's a good way to start!. If it doesn't seem to work out, it doesn't mean that an occasional visit wouldn't be appreciated!. It may also be that they enjoy the you they know, and are afraid that by knowing you better there may be something exposed that they rather not know!. Older people are often set in their ways and have difficulty adjusting to new situations!.
If they are saying good things about you then you're doing something right, and sometimes people have thier guards up so high that that's the best we can hope for!. You at least have their favor and respect!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
