Has cutting always happened?!

I think it has always been around but these days the pressures on people are so much more the pressure to be like everyone else to do well.life is becomming harder for so many people young and old .peoples self confidence is at an all time low and so many people turn the frustration on themselves where as years ago there wasn't so much help andif anyone did admit to anything like that they were locked up ,now they cn ask for help without fear people can and do want to help now.

It has always happenned but it has just been more media foccused now a days there was not as much media attention to the subject a few years ago.

I think, in some form, it has always been there. Maybe it wasn't specific like it is today, or as open. But I would bet it's always been around.
